The Japanese-inspired WÜSTHOF Classic Ikon 7" Hollow Edge Nakiri is a master of versatile produce prep work: it makes kitchen tasks such as slicing, dicing, mincing, and chopping a simple everyday pleasure. The shape is inspired by a Japanese-style cleaver though should not be confused with one, as the Classic Ikon Nakiri knife is not suitable for rougher tasks such as splitting bones for the stockpot. (For tasks such as this, please peruse one of our premium cleavers instead!) The dimpled edge of the 7" Hollow Edge Nakiri allows small air pockets to form during slicing, which prevents food from sticking to the blade.
