Color About It!When you, or your children, can't relax. You need serenity. You will probably feel better if you can…Color About It! Are you: Anxious, Discouraged? You need: The House At Pooh Corner, Color About It! This is the perfect “pull at your heart strings” story. A group of very mild mannered, “pal around” friends, doing things to get on each other's nerves in one scene, and loving one another in the next. They happen to be stuffed animals; belonging to Christopher Robin. That should tell you something. Why I “Wrote” the Coloring Book: As a child, I remember my father playing marbles with me. He would come home from work, pause, get on one knee and fire a wickedly fast spinning marble into the center of the circle. The six boys watching him should have worn eye protection. He enjoyed showing off. Childhood was his escape. This was the part of his day he enjoyed the most. He had a wretched childhood. And as a young man (30’s) he had the crushing responsibility for the electronics, weapons systems and the crews on jet fighters at an Air Force base during the cold war. He relaxed, going back to being childlike. Or, he would drink. Coloring wasn't available for recovery then. He would have enjoyed it. The family would also. I wrote the book for him.The Benefits of Active Coloring For Adults: Calm yourself and relax. Color a sparkling stream in “Pooh”. You might need a break from tedious people, or time away from a distasteful task. You need self healing. Rediscover yourself and others. Go back to a gentle review of the community that adults (or parents) may have had.
