This Hasegawa 1/72 scale assembly kit features the Lancaster bomber flown during the famous 1943 mission codenamed "Operation Chastise", in which Lancaster bombers of the RAF 617 Squadron carrying special drum shaped bouncing bombs attacked the dams of the Ruhr Valley. This kit comes with highly detailed cockpit, detailed undercarriage, new cylindrical special bombs and under fuselage parts, and decals for three versions: 1) Royal A.F. 617 SQ Code: AJ-G May 1943. 2) Royal A.F. 617 SQ Code: AJ-C. 3) Royal A.F. 617 SQ Code: AJ-S Dec., 1943.
