I’m delighted to share my very first fabric collection as the youngest designer in the fabric and sewing industry. My life is a reflection of a powerful image -- a patchwork quilt of experiences and cultures that have shaped a broader perspective in a unique way. A quilt that is influenced by a collective of viewing the world in a much different manner, one that can’t be taught in books. Intricately and carefully stitched together from an array of scrap fabrics, encompassing and resembling a mix of textures, shades and colors yet, complementing each other beautifully. Being born in a country not of my parents origin and growing up as an expat in many different countries has made a significant impact on my entire being. It takes a village to raise a child but for me it took a great big world. Each place, culture, tradition and experience is tightly pieced together like a patch work quilt to make up who I am today. There is still a massive world to explore but oh, the places I’ve been that have shaped me.
